Pre-Med Community was created by a physician who knows what it is like to navigate the path as an applicant and later sat across from medical-school applicants as an MMI interviewer and scorer. It is built for the students doing the actual work, with real questions, competing priorities, and imperfect timelines.
Since 2015, PMC has shared articles, tools, and resources to make a complicated process easier to understand. When you need advice tailored to your situation, there is personal support for that too.

I'm Wil Caruso, MD, founder of Pre-Med Community. I earned my MD from the Medical College of Georgia after finding my way through the process as a first-generation, nontraditional applicant.
During medical school, I conducted and scored MMI interviews for medical-school admissions. I later participated in an anesthesiology residency admissions committee and completed clinical training in general surgery and anesthesiology. Those experiences changed how I think about preparation, communication, and the decisions applicants face.
There are things I understand now that I wish someone had explained to me then. PMC is where I share that perspective, alongside practical tools and guidance you can actually use.
